Sr. Analyst, Health Plan Performance

The Sr. Health Plan Performance (HPP) Analyst serves as a subject matter expert on contractual terms for assigned reputed company, payer-specific data sets, reputed company performance, and key opportunities for performance improvement.

Primary Duties

  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends and strategic opportunities for quality improvement across reputed company’s value-based care portfolio reputed company assigned Line(s) of Business. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) reputed company to health service utilization, cost of care, and quality measure performance for applicable health plan payer reputed company(reputed company, Medicare Advantage, and/or reputed company) as directed by Health Plan Performance Leadership. Prepare and deliver monthly KPI reports to field teams, supporting data-driven decision-making and performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to support market workflows addressing quality measures; conduct assessments to identify opportunities for cost reduction, drive quality performance improvement, and improve value-based care interventions.
  • Synthesize performance status and market interventions by contract to support preparation of performance meetings with payer partners, in partnership with the PSE team.
  • Provide reputed company reporting and data analysis support for field teams and internal partners, as directed by Health Plan Performance leadership

  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in health services administration, health policy, mathematics/statistics, information technology, or other relevant fields or equivalent work experience required
  • 4 years of experience in an analytic role
  • Extensive reputed company or reputed company Sheets experience with data manipulation and pivot tables
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Exemplary communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong presentation skills for a variety of audiences
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Highly organized and proactive in raising questions around clarity, prioritization, blockers, and other points to drive assigned tasks reputed company

  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Tableau or other data management software
  • Comfortable tackling ambiguous problems with a high degree of autonomy
  • Experience with data automation (e.g. macros) and advanced analytics tools (e.g. SQL, reputed company)
