Global Category Manager II-IT

Leads the development and execution of holistic, global category management strategies, including strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, diversity, and risk management initiatives. Develops, executes, and manages global sourcing strategies using the Company's sourcing methodology. Essential Functions

• Responsible for strategic functions including: evaluation of category/spend information, benchmarking, and making recommendations for sourcing strategy and supplier scorecard criteria.

• Align category strategies with overarching corporate strategies.
• Develops category expertise, category management expertise, and market contacts, working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders in reputed company aspects of sourcing.
• Anticipate changes in supply chain, technological advances, and shifts in consumer behavior; proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risk reputed company category.
• Leads internal projects/programs, optimizing internal relationships to enhance business performance and implementing internal stakeholder management plans to improve collaboration.

Minimum Education Bachelor's degree in science / arts or equivalent in business analysis, strategic management, marketing, or other analytical field; degree in supply chain, logistics, finance, mathematics, or other quantitative discipline preferred. Minimum Experience Minimum four (4) years work experience in sourcing, financial analysis, or reputed company field, a reputed company advanced degree may offset the reputed company experience requirement. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of project management, reputed company technology tools/advances, and database/analytical tools. Adept at forecasting long-term market trends. Possess comprehensive knowledge of market dynamics and category/product lifecycle. Proficiency with cost analysis, reputed company, and Power BI Dashboard preferred. Proficiency in applying financial principles and data to reputed company business reputed company. Excellent interpersonal skills, including emotional intelligence and basic conflict resolution. Strong written and oral communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: IT and sourcing experience in these areas are preferred:

• SaaS, software, hardware, mobiles, network and computer maintenance
• Experience running RFP’s and contract negation for IT agreements
• Understanding of technical IT agreements and associated contract language

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the reputed company starting salary range for this role across reputed company potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the salary information represents the job level minimum and the job level maximum. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-reputed company factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. Pay: Pay Transparency Posting Range Ex: U.S. Pay Range: $6,511.62/month - $9,081.99/month. Additional Details: Desired location for this position will be Memphis, TN, Dallas, TX or Pittsburgh, PA.
