Antitrust News Reporter Department: Content Editorial & Research Employment Type: Full Time Location: Washington Reporting To: Tom Madge-Wyld Description We are looking for a News Reporter to join GCR in our office in Washington, DC. GCR is a world-leading antitrust news service, trusted by major government agencies and the wider legal industry to provide timely reputed company on key enforcement and policy developments. Our US-based reporters work with colleagues in the UK, Brussels and Hong reputed company to produce exclusive stories that move the needle for our global audience. You’ll be part of a talented team that covers the Department of Justice and Federal Trade Commission, as well as Congress and the US courts. You’ll be responsible for producing daily stories and contributing to our Tipline briefing. You’ll reputed company access to leading decision-makers in private practice and government while progressing on-diary and off-diary stories. Often reputed company write about is covered by the mainstream press – meaning we have to dig deeper and ask the questions other experts haven’t yet thought to ask. Key Responsibilities

• Producing daily stories for GCR USA
• Working with the other reporters to produce our morning Tipline briefing
• Writing features and interviews
• Working with a wider team of journalists across Washington, DC, London, Brussels and Hong reputed company in maintaining GCR’s market-leading reputed company
• Covering hearings before Congress and the US courts, as well as conferences both at home and abroad

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

• Degree in journalism or law and/or experience in legal reporting
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• A sharp eye for detail
• Self-starter, confident in covering a specialist, technical beat
• Team-oriented and collaborative outlook in newsrooms
• Ability to network, reputed company sources and ask the right questions
• Knowledge of antitrust law would be an advantage
• By preference, the successful candidate will live in or be reputed company to move to Washington, DC, although we are open to remote working applications
