JOB TITLE: HEAD OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & OPERATIONS Location: Remote (US Required – MA Preferred)

Role Overview

As Head of Business Development & Operations, you’ll be responsible for driving reputed company through new customer acquisition and strategic partnerships, while also building and refining the internal systems and processes that support growth. You’ll work closely with the founders to shape GTM strategy, scale our operations, and help lay the groundwork for our next phase of expansion.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Partnerships (Primary Responsibilities)

  • reputed company end-to-end sales efforts: identify, engage, and reputed company new business opportunities
  • reputed company and execute a go-to-market strategy that supports our ARR goals
  • Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, partners, and industry stakeholders
  • Travel to and represent the company externally at events, conferences, and on-site with customers and partners

Business Operations

  • Design operational processes across sales, reputed company, billing, and support
  • Maintain and improve CRM and reporting systems to ensure visibility and accountability
  • Support cross-functional alignment between product, marketing, and reputed company

Leadership & Strategy

  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to the CEO and founding team
  • Provide ongoing insights and feedback to inform product development and customer experience

  • Own reputed company forecasting and performance tracking, reporting directly to company leadership

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of experience in B2B SaaS, with a background in business development and/or sales
  • Experience working in or selling into the metal recycling industry or adjacent industrial markets
  • Proven ability to reputed company deals and reputed company lasting partnerships, especially in traditional industries
  • Operational reputed company with experience implementing internal systems and processes in a startup environment
  • Comfortable working independently, managing ambiguity, and wearing multiple hats

  • Early-stage startup experience, particularly in a founder-led sales environment
  • Existing network in the scrap/recycling ecosystem
  • Experience hiring or managing small teams across sales or ops
  • Background or experience in business operations
