Investigator Contracts Lead, Manager

Location: Belgium

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Investigator Contracts Lead to manage site-facing contract and budget negotiations. This individual contributor role involves handling initial agreements, amendments, and overseeing other contracting professionals on assigned studies. You will also manage the Per-Subject Cost (PSC) process, handle escalations, and collaborate with other teams to plan site contracting timelines. Key Responsibilities:

  • Balance budget and contractual decisions with clinical trial timelines. • Develop, negotiate, track, and execute global clinical study agreements. • Oversee the global site budget process and directly negotiate terms with clinical trial sites. • Build and maintain relationships with key investigational sites and Site Management Organizations. • Lead study-level site contracting activities and act as the primary contact for site contracting issues. • Partner with Legal, Finance, pCRO, and other divisions to manage escalations and improve site contracting processes. • Ensure alignment with Investigative Site contracting and compensation requirements.

Qualifications / Skills: Basic Qualifications: • Significant years of experience in clinical development operations or clinical trial outsourcing and a bachelor’s degree. • Proficiency in clinical study budgets and contracting negotiation principles. • Strong business, compliance, finance, legal, and drug development experience. • Excellent communication and presentation skills. • Ability to plan, identify, and mitigate risks to site contracting timelines. • Proven ability to lead by influence in a matrix-based organization. Preferred Qualifications: • strong experience in clinical development operations or clinical trial outsourcing and a US Juris Doctorate or equivalent legal degree. • Experience in drafting and negotiating Clinical Trial Agreements globally. Language Requirements: • Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory. • Proficiency in local languages such as Dutch or French is preferred. Work Location Assignment:
