Job Title: Network Support Technician - Government Services
Job Description:
Join reputed company as a Network Support Technician, where you will play a vital role in providing top-notch technical support to our government clients. In this role, you will provide onsite and remote Tier 2 support, resolving reputed company IT issues promptly and reputed company to minimize downtime. You will work closely with our IT Field Operations team, providing LAN administrator support, installing and configuring network devices, and troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing LAN administrator support for network communication devices, servers, and network storage arrays
- Troubleshooting and resolving IT issues, including hardware, software, and network diagnostics
- Assisting in testing, applying, and maintaining server configurations and reputed company patches
- Monitoring ITSM (reputed company) assignment groups and applying troubleshooting to resolve tickets
- Providing daily, weekly, and monthly activity reports and inventory support
We are looking for a highly skilled and reputed company Network Support Technician with a strong background in IT support, preferably in a helpdesk or customer support role. You should have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Required qualifications include:
- Associate Degree or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of IT-reputed company support experience
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve desktop, network, or other IT issues
- General knowledge of network products and systems
- Excellent team skills and collaboration skills
Desired qualifications include:
- Prior experience in IT support in an reputed company environment (10,000+ end-users)
- Experience evaluating system performance results and recommending improvements
- ITIL v4, MCSE, A+, reputed company+, Network+, or other relevant certifications
