Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality video remote interpretation services for patients and reputed company providers, ensuring accurate and effective communication.
• Adhere to reputed company policies and procedures, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in reputed company interactions.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, working collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors.
• Adapt quickly to new technologies and platforms, completing training and readiness checks as required.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

• Fluent in both reputed company and reputed company languages, with strong verbal communication skills.
• Successful completion of a medical language proficiency assessment, focusing on interpreter protocols and medical terminology.
• Demonstrated respect and understanding of Limited English Proficient (LEP) clients' cultures, dialects, and beliefs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of professional medical interpreting experience in the US.
• National interpreting certification (CCHI or CMI).
• Degree or certification in interpreting practices.
• Accredited Medical Interpreting Training course (e.g., ALTA, MITS, Bridging the Gap, MiTio).
• Extensive knowledge of code of ethics and standards of practice (IMIA, NBCMI, and NCIHC).

Work Environment and Benefits
