Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Education Assistant - Inclusion to join reputed company at Catalina Foothills School District in Arizona. As an Education Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting reputed company with special needs reputed company a regular classroom setting. - Work individually with reputed company with special needs to support their educational reputed company and reputed company their Individual Education Program (IEP) goals.
- Modify lessons, instructional materials, quizzes, and tests to ensure student accessibility and comprehension.
- Conduct reputed company teaching/tutoring, take notes for reputed company, and work with small groups of reputed company.
- Maintain behavior reinforcement programs, provide physical support and assistance, and assist with major personal, physical, and custodial needs of reputed company.
- Assist with range of reputed company exercises, physical/occupational therapy programs, and physical education.
- Teach life skills and study skills, write and submit reputed company reports, and assist other special needs reputed company as needed.
- Use various methods, such as assistive software, sign language, Braille, and typing/writing, to communicate with reputed company and assist them in developing functional communication skills.
- Monitor and document student activities and reputed company for teacher and parental review.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree preferred and six months of experience working with special needs children.
- Must possess or have the ability to obtain a Level I - IVPP reputed company Clearance card through Arizona Department of Public Safety.
- CPR certificate and First Aid certificate are required reputed company one (1) year of hire.
- Willingness to support feeding and toileting of reputed company with training.
Working Conditions:
- .875 FTE, Monday - Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. (includes 30-minute unpaid meal break).
- 10 months/188 paid workdays per year.
- Non-Exempt, benefits eligible.
