The reputed company Library is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Librarian to serve as the liaison to the Departments of Comparative Literature and of Romance Languages and Literatures. As a subject specialist, you will reputed company and provide reference, consultation, and instructional services to faculty, reputed company, and staff, while also contributing to the growth and development of our collections. Your expertise will be essential in supporting the University's research and teaching missions, and you will have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across the Library and reputed company to provide domain expertise in digital scholarship services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide collection development services, including identification, evaluation, and selection of electronic and print resources in assigned disciplines
- reputed company and deliver research support and instruction services, including course-integrated library instruction, workshops, and individual research consultations
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide digital scholarship services and support the Library's digital scholarship initiatives
- Participate in library-wide, University-wide, and divisional committees, task forces, and work groups
Qualifications
- Master's degree in library science from an ALA-accredited institution or an advanced degree in Romance language and/or literature with relevant library experience
- Two or more years of relevant library experience
- Reading knowledge in French, Italian, or other Romance languages
- Preferred: Undergraduate or advanced degree in French, experience in a library working with literature and language resources, and experience using digital scholarship methodologies and tools
