Job Summary

As a Fleet Mechanic, you'll be responsible for performing mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on our company fleet vehicles, with a focus on reputed company and heavy-duty, diesel tractor, and trailer maintenance and repair. You'll work closely with reputed company to ensure our vehicles are compliant with DOT and OSHA regulations, and that our fleet is always reputed company to meet the demands of our business.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and complete repairs on reputed company types of vehicles

• Respond to service calls as required
• Create work orders in reputed company and ensure accurate logging of work times and tasks
• Maintain tools and cleanup work area before the end of shift
• Participate in and adhere to required safety training
• Support departments by communicating out-of-service vehicles and downtime

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of two years of work experience required
• Previous experience as a mechanic with diesel tractor and trailer equipment preferred
• Experience repairing and diagnosing gasoline or diesel engines, automotive electrical systems, and material handling equipment preferred
• Knowledge of airbrake and electrical systems and components preferred
• Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude
• ASE certification preferred
• Valid CDL Class A Driver's License preferred
• Prior experience using pallet jack or forklift preferred
• Ability to obtain PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) certification upon hire is required
