About the role: K Health is engaged in cutting-edge AI research and seeking a skilled technical writer to help prepare high-quality manuscripts for preprint servers (e.g., arXiv, bioRxiv, medRxiv) and eventual peer-reviewed submission. What you will do: You will collaborate with our researchers to structure, refine, and edit AI/ML manuscripts for clarity, precision, and adherence to formatting standards. This includes converting complex technical content into concise, publication-ready papers.

• Draft, edit, and proofread AI research manuscripts
• Ensure adherence to preprint guidelines (arXiv, bioRxiv, etc.)
• Structure and format papers using LaTeX and reference management tools
• Collaborate with researchers to refine technical explanations and figures
• Maintain consistent style, tone, and terminology

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience writing or editing AI/ML research papers (samples required)
• Familiarity with LaTeX and academic formatting
• Strong grasp of AI concepts (e.g., deep learning, LLMs, reinforcement learning)
• Excellent English writing and editing skills

Bonus:

• Previous publications on arXiv or similar platforms

Compensation: $40 - $80 USD We offer competitive compensation packages based on industry benchmarks for function, level, and geographic location.
