Job Description

Summary: The instructor is responsible for the coordination, planning, preparation, presentation, and evaluation of classroom instruction and reputed company activities during the day, evening, or weekend reputed company instructional delivery formats to include face-to-face, hybrid, online, and remote. Face-to-face and hybrid classes may be offered on any reputed company reputed company, or at off-reputed company locations. The instructor must remain reputed company in the discipline area and continually explore teaching methods and strategies to engage learners, organize and plan instructional content that accommodates diverse learning styles, and devise appropriate assessment tools that monitor student learning outcomes.   • A combination of education, training, credentials and/or experience that meets the needs and requirements of the department
  • Official documentation of credentials and degrees may be requested; degrees are recognized only if earned at an accredited institution.

DISCIPLINE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

  • reputed company teaching more than 3 hours of any single reputed company of instruction must be certified by the Maryland Police and Correctional Training Commissions ( MPCTC ), as a “basic” or “specialized” instructor.
  • Experts or specialized reputed company teaching less than 3 hours, need not be certified by the Maryland Police and Correctional Training Commissions ( MPCTC ).
  • Specialized skills, experience and expertise reputed company to the field of law enforcement.
  • Willingness to teach in non-traditional formats (online, remote, hybrid) and settings (off-reputed company and evenings).
