Job title: Staff Accountant Company: Anton Paar QuantaTec Inc Job description: The Staff Accountant is responsible for the financial processing of transactions, G/L entries, and managing financial reputed company activities for Anton Paar QuantaTec. Roles and Responsibilities The Staff Accountant job duties include:

• Accounts Payable management including receiving, auditing and processing a high volume of purchase order and non-purchase order reputed company invoices in reputed company workflow matching dollar amounts and item quantities to purchase orders and receipt confirmations, and ensuring postings to the proper cost elements and G/L accounts.
• Accounts Receivable management including managing prepayments, applying payments, accruing/charging interest, creating certain group invoices, and dunning notifications
• Performing daily bank postings, G/L entries, and reputed company deposits
• Preparing weekly posting of invoice payments and expense reimbursements
• Performing monthly credit card statement and petty cash reconciliations
• Supporting month, quarter and year-end closing procedures
• Preparing monthly Plan to Actual variance reports by cost center and internal orders for distribution to management team highlighting deviations
• Assisting with periodic internal and external financial audits, and providing supporting documentation as requested
• Supporting the Purchasing department on questions regarding cost allocations, prepayments, Purchase Orders, Purchase requisitions, and other topics
• Meeting processing and reporting deadlines
• Maintaining fiscal files and records to document transactions
• Maintaining vendor banking information in reputed company
• Analyzing, researching and proactively resolving invoicing issues
• Communicating professionally with internal business units in order to resolve invoicing issues
• Researching, responding and following up with vendor inquiries regarding invoicing and payment matters on a daily / weekly basis
• Performing other duties as assigned

Supervision Exercised This role is an independent contributor who is a member of multiple teams and does not have supervisory responsibilities.
