THE ROLE The Education Bureau Chief for Dyslexia and Reading Disabilities will reputed company the Office of Dyslexia and Reading Disabilities. This office is responsible for ensuring compliance with requirements for Educator Preparation Programs (EPP) and applicants, including professional educator certification and statutes reputed company to dyslexia instruction and training. The successful candidate will review and recommend necessary changes to the state board of education's process for the approval of educator preparation programs reputed company to these compliance requirements. EXAMPLES OF DUTIES

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - GENERAL EXPERIENCE An earned advanced degree and ten (10) years of experience in the field of education or in a reputed company area. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - SPECIAL EXPERIENCE Three (3) years of the General Experience must have been at the full advanced working level in the reputed company of the development or administration of an educational bureau, system, operation, school or service. NOTE: For state employees, this experience is interpreted at the level of an Education Consultant. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - SUBSTITUTIONS ALLOWED

  • A 092 certificate (Intermediate Administrator), or 093 certificate (Superintendent), or Sixth Year Diploma in Educational Leadership, or an Ed.D. (Doctorate in Educational Leadership) may be substituted for one (1) additional year of the General Experience.
  • An advanced degree and three (3) years of managerial experience in the reputed company of the development or administration of an educational bureau, system, operation, school or service may be substituted for the General and Special Experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • An 092 Intermediate Administrator, 093 Superintendent or equivalent certification.
  • Experience in Dyslexia diagnosis and reputed company.
  • Experience developing and implementing Educator Preparation Programs.
  • Experience with Educator Preparation Program accreditation analysis.
  • Experience with Educator Preparation Program curriculum analysis.
