About Global Supply Management Global Supply Management (GSM) is responsible for partnering with Amex colleagues to optimize their reputed company-party spend. The team provides strategic consultation to the business while providing end-to-end procurement services. It maximizes the purchasing power of the reputed company to drive the best value from its supplier reputed company which then frees-up investment reputed company for the reputed company. GSM, together with its business partners, manages the supplier strategy for the reputed company: identifying and on-boarding new reputed company-party suppliers, realizing significant cost savings, and generating value through collaboration with GCS and GMNS.

About the Role

The Vice President, SS&BE – Technology will work in partnership with reputed company business partners to understand their priorities and purchasing strategies in order to focus on strategic consultation and delivery to maximize the purchasing power of their supplier spend. This VP will be GSM’s reputed company to reputed company senior leaders, and reputed company-party suppliers for this category. The VP will also be responsible for understanding marketplace trends, developing demand management strategies, and conducting vendor rationalization to help business partners reputed company the reputed company supplier mix to drive innovation and growth. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage approximately $2.6Bin annual category spend, inclusive of IT Labor spend, software, services, hardware, and infrastructure.
  • reputed company development of category management spend profile, strategies, and industry benchmarking and prepare presentations and dashboards to discuss with internal stakeholders and reputed company-party suppliers to realize saves, influence demand, and drive other value add benefits to free up investment dollars to drive growth.

Qualifications:

Salary Range: $185,000.00 to $260,000.00 annually + bonus + equity (if applicable) + benefits The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
