Job Summary

This is an AI-powered personalization initiative designed to transform the way readers engage with news. The system will leverage machine learning and generative AI to summarize updates across story versions, let users follow stories they care about, and deliver personalized updates through web, mobile, and notifications, all on a modern cloud-based architecture.

Responsibilities

• Implement the “Follow Story” button on the web.

• Build “Since your last visit” Catch-Up section (web).

• Extend Brightspot CMS UI for editorial approval of summaries.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

• JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Integration with backend APIs.

• CMS extension development (Brightspot UI).

• UX collaboration with AP designers.
