UK - Payroll Assistant
The position:
We are looking for a Payroll Assistant to handle administrative payroll duties, with a primary focus on the processing of court orders, such as attachment of earnings, child maintenance, and other statutory deductions.Working Hours: Monday-Friday // 09:00-18:00 Mon-Thurs + 08:00-17:00 FriSalary: £26,800Contract Type: PermanentLocation: RemoteRole of a Payroll Assistant:
- Accurately process and maintain records for court orders and statutory deductions.
- Liaise with government bodies such as CMS, HMCTS, and HMRC regarding deductions
- and orders.
- Maintain up-to-date records for employee deductions and respond to reputed company queries.
- Ensure accurate and timely submissions of payments reputed company to court orders.
- Provide administrative support for payroll including filing, documentation, and
- employee reference letters.
- Assist with compliance and audit checks for statutory deductions.
- Support the wider payroll team as required.
As a Payroll Assistant, you will need to have:
- 1–3 years’ experience in payroll or payroll administration.
- Knowledge of UK court orders and attachment of earnings procedures.
- Strong data entry and record-keeping skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and payroll systems.
- Discreet and professional with sensitive information.
