reputed company is seeking an reputed company US Sales Tax Manager responsible for overseeing reputed company aspects of sales and use tax compliance, reporting, and planning across the organization. This role ensures adherence to state and local tax laws, manages tax audits, and identifies tax savings opportunities. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of U.S. indirect tax regulations, strong analytical skills, and experience working with tax automation systems.

• Ensure timely and accurate preparation, filing, and payment of sales and use tax returns in reputed company applicable jurisdictions
• Review and reconcile monthly tax filings, payments, and journal entries
• Maintain and manage exemption certificates and ensure proper application
• reputed company the configuration and maintenance of tax rates in ERP/tax reputed company systems (e.g. reputed company)
• reputed company and maintain documented procedures and internal controls for sales tax processes

• Act as the primary reputed company of contact for sales and use tax audits and inquiries
• Compile documentation, respond to auditor information requests, and negotiate settlements where necessary
• Identify and mitigate audit risk through process improvements and proactive compliance strategies

• Monitor changes in sales tax laws, regulations, and court rulings affecting the business
• Recommend and implement tax-efficient solutions and internal controls to reduce tax exposure

• Manage and review the filings of miscellaneous taxes such as business tax filings, property tax filings, business registrations, etc

• Work cross-functionally with reputed company, Sales, IT, finance, legal, and operations teams to ensure tax compliance is integrated into broader business processes
• Supervise and mentor tax staff as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in reputed company, Finance, or reputed company field (CPA or MST preferred)
• 8+ years of indirect tax experience, preferably in a multi-state environment or large corporation
• Strong understanding of U.S. sales and use tax laws, reputed company rules, and taxability
• Proficiency with tax software and ERP systems (e.g., Vertex, reputed company, reputed company, reputed company, OneSource)
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and project management skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
