Right now, we are looking for an Account Manager (m/f/d) to join our team at KNIME in Berlin or Remote Germany.*

Who you are

You are a revenue-focused professional who thrives on new business acquisition and puts the customer at the center of your work. You have a strong ability to identify and penetrate new market opportunities while expertly managing existing relationships for expansion. You are persistent without being pushy, credible yet empathetic, bringing a proven track record from a software or technology company with particular strength in new logo acquisition and AI/ML solutions.

You rely on data to inform prospecting strategies and investment decisions, with experience articulating the value proposition of AI-driven solutions to both technical and business stakeholders. Your background includes working with agentic AI systems, machine learning workflows, or data science platforms, enabling you to speak credibly about complex technical concepts during new business development.

You are fluent in English and motivated by building relationships from the ground up. You work strategically with prospects and customers to help solve problems and deliver transformative value through AI and analytics while driving sustainable revenue growth through new acquisitions and account expansion.

In this role, you will focus on new business acquisition and strategic account expansion across EMEA, in alignment with KNIME's core values. You will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and converting new logo opportunities while nurturing existing accounts for growth. You will collaborate closely with Solution Engineers, Data Scientists, and marketing teams to build comprehensive AI and analytics solutions that open new markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Logo Acquisition: Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities in target industries

  • Account Expansion: Execute land-and-expand strategies within existing customers through additional use cases and departments

  • Technical Solution Selling: Lead discovery, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept management for AI/ML platform evaluations

  • Pipeline Management: Build and maintain robust new business pipeline while managing competitive positioning

  • Relationship Development: Establish relationships with new prospects and expand stakeholder network within current accounts
