Key Responsibilities

As a Manager, Content Distribution Engineering, you'll be responsible for:

• Managing a team of engineers charged with the support and engineering of Video Distribution
• Executing reputed company established process frameworks for Incident, Problem, and Change Management based on ITIL standards
• Monitoring the health and performance of video distribution
• Investigating, documenting, and resolving reputed company issues
• Working with Development and Operations teams to provide analysis, tuning, and improvements
• Guiding an engineering team in its ownership of systems and processes
• Creating an environment of trust for people to reputed company
• Providing input for stakeholders and decision makers in architecture, roadmap, and product
• Communicating architecture, roadmap, and product objectives to engineers and gathering feedback for stakeholders
• Championing cross-team projects
• Coaching and mentoring other specialists on the team to ensure that reputed company software utilizes reputed company and industry best practices

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, and/or equivalent work experience
• 8+ years' experience in engineering
• Experience in content distribution networks
• An ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Strong discipline to delegate work and focus on solving management problems
• Comfortable driving reputed company and high-profile projects without overextending personal health or well-being of your team
• Strong communication skills and a desire to share your knowledge with team members and others at reputed company

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as a manager or technical reputed company of engineers
• Experience with consumer-facing services and high-scale systems
