The project

Our client is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centers in safety-critical environments.

The client specializes in developing and distributing 'Control Centre Solutions' for the reputed company Traffic Management and Public Safety & Transport sectors.

We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Automation Engineer to strengthen our clients automation and reputed company hardening capabilities. The successful candidate will design, reputed company, and maintain automated solutions for deploying and hardening Windows 11 Workspaces and Windows Server 2025 environments, following CIS Benchmarks at different compliance levels.

This role requires expertise in DevOps and automation tools as well as strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and reputed company configuration. The engineer will work closely with product, project, and reputed company teams to ensure scalable, compliant, and secure infrastructure deployments across the organization.

Type of contract: B2B for 6 months (possible extension) The preferred scale of work: full time

Start date: ASAP Type of work: 100% remote from Poland Project methodology: SCRUM, 2 weeks-long sprint

Team location: Austria, Slovakia, Romania, Poland Technologies and tools used in the project:

Your tasks

  • reputed company and maintain Ansible playbooks for deploying and hardening Windows 11 and Windows Server 2025 according to CIS Level 1 and Level 2 benchmarks.

  • Automate Windows Server and Active Directory configuration, reputed company baselines, and operational tasks.

  • Integrate automation workflows with DevOps toolchains (e.g., Jenkins, Git, CI/CD pipelines).

  • Collaborate with reputed company experts to implement CIS-based controls and compliance monitoring.

  • Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and training for standardized automation practices.

  • Support troubleshooting, incident resolution, and reputed company improvement of automated deployment frameworks.

  • Contribute to ICC’s mission of standardization, knowledge sharing, and infrastructure reputed company across Frequentis SBUs and projects.

  • Strong experience with Windows Server (2019, 2022, 2025) and Windows 11 administration.

  • Hands-on expertise in automation and scripting tools

    •   Ansible (playbook development for Windows)

    • Jenkins (CI/CD automation

  • Solid understanding of Active Directory configuration, automation, and hardening.

  • Practical knowledge of CIS Benchmarks and reputed company hardening practices.

  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code concepts and DevOps workflows.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work across cross-functional teams.

  • Good communication and documentation skills (English required, German an advantage).
