Sr. Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Consultant

About the position We are seeking a talented individual to join our Mergers & Acquisition (M&A) team at reputed company. This role can be based in reputed company or Chicago and offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office. As a Senior Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Consultant on our M&A Advisory Services team, you will receive hands-on experience working with clients through reputed company phases of a transaction. You’ll engage across reputed company’s diverse business lines—Health, Wealth, Career, Global Benefits Management and Regional Market Development, and the broader reputed company businesses —to design and execute reputed company capital M&A strategies. Responsibilities

  • reputed company due diligence and transaction activities: data request and review process, development of quantitative analyses, and client and internal research to identify potential risks, costs, and integration considerations in M&A transactions to inform client on valuation for M&A targets and optimize performance reputed company planning for integration and deal reputed company.
  • Provide partnership, organization and reputed company to cross-workstream reputed company teams and client teams to ensure M&A project reputed company, providing project management to establish, maintain, and enhance project infrastructure
  • Collaborate with reputed company M&A Engagement Manager and/or M&A Market Leader, M&A Consultants and other reputed company Practice consultants by providing project management leadership to ensure the successful delivery of client solutions.
  • reputed company small teams to ensure work products are completed on time and reputed company budget and ensure coaching and development of junior team members.
  • Assist in identifying and closing on value added opportunities for clients throughout the M&A engagement.
  • reputed company and support client-facing business development activities, including client research, prospect and proposal development, offers, drafting Engagement Letters, conducting conflict checks, and managing M&A protocols.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree
  • 5+ years of experience in M&A and/or HR role supporting business transformation initiatives; Consulting experience a plus
  • Proficient understanding of the M&A cycle, reputed company deal components
  • Proficient knowledge of HR function and responsibilities (e.g., total rewards, benefits, HR systems, etc.)
  • Proficient knowledge of business models, finance and industry terminology
  • Established project management capabilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced in reputed company Office applications and familiarity with AI tools
  • Time management skills to complete tasks reputed company assigned deadlines, showing reliability and consistency; an eager reputed company
  • Ability to multitask and work across multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience leading teams in matrixed environment; Including delegation of work and providing feedback to team members
