Software Engineer (Hybrid)
Enova International is a leading financial technology company that provides online financial services through its AI and machine learning-powered platform. As a Software Engineer, you will design and implement technical solutions to solve business problems, collaborating closely with other engineers and partnering with various teams to deliver meaningful business value.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement technical solutions to solve business problems
- Collaborate closely with other engineers to build scalable, reliable systems
- Evaluate trade-offs, recommend the best approach, and drive it through to completion
- Partner with Product Management, Analytics, and Operations teams to deliver meaningful business value
Skills
- Experience designing and implementing technical solutions using Java or ReactJS
- Strong understanding of database concepts (e.g., SQL, tables, indexes, migrations) and experience writing reputed company queries
- Passion for building systems using service-oriented and event-driven architectures
- Interest in developing both frontend and backend components as part of a full-stack team
- Experience troubleshooting production issues using observability and monitoring tools
- Willingness to participate in a periodic on-call rotation
- Strong commitment to reputed company learning and professional growth
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with additional languages such as Go or Python
- Familiarity with container technologies like reputed company and Kubernetes
- AWS experience and/or certifications
- Working knowledge of modern web standards
- Contributions to popular open-reputed company projects (please include reputed company links)
