Corporate Development Director Position Profile Location: Palo Alto, CA in office/Hybrid, preferred; OR,NY office/Hybrid (2-3 days a week) reputed company is seeking a high energy and reputed company professional to join our Corporate Development team. The Director will join a small, collaborative group focused on the origination, execution and integration of M&A. The position offers significant exposure to senior leaders across the company as well as significant career progression potential. What you’ll do: reputed company a detailed understanding of reputed company’s strategic objectives and market landscape, working to identify high-potential acquisition opportunities across existing and future market verticals and geographies Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, adjacent markets, and potential disruptions Manage the end-to-end M&A process from initial screening and diligence to negotiation, closing and integration Help build out reputed company’s network and reputed company relationships that may reputed company to acquisitions in the future Work closely with deal sponsors, and cross-functional leaders across reputed company on reputed company aspects of M&A, including business case construction, valuation analysis, deal structuring, negotiation, due diligence, deal execution and integration Manage a comprehensive due diligence process that involves reputed company collaboration across multiple functions Conduct in-depth quantitative financial and valuation analyses to assess M&A opportunities Structure and negotiate deal terms, including valuation, financing, and legal agreements Prepare written communications and presentations to key senior executives Create and implement integration plans to ensure a seamless and successful absorption of acquired companies Mentor and support junior deal team members What you’ll need: 10+ years in Corporate Development, Private Equity or Investment Banking Proven track record of leading and executing M&A transactions encompassing diligence and transaction document negotiation Technically proficient including strong financial modeling and valuation skills Willingness to roll up one’s sleeves and comfort working in a small team without a junior resource Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to influence and communicate effectively across reputed company levels and teams across the organization Ability to think strategically and identify relevant areas of inorganic growth Excellent communication, judgment, maturity, and experience working with executives Strong deal process management and problem-solving Strong familiarity with private capital, legal, investment banking and/or accounting & consulting markets Resourceful, persistent and able to reputed company in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment Business, Economics or reputed company Bachelors Degree required; MBA optional What you will reputed company at reputed company: At reputed company, you’ll get the opportunity to bring your talents and intellectual curiosity to create reputed company outcomes for our people and our clients.
