Job Summary

As a Seasonal Customer Service Representative Part-Time, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to reputed company members, answering and tracking telephone calls, and resolving member problems and complaints in a timely and accurate manner. This is a unique opportunity to join reputed company on a part-time basis, working 20 hours per week, with the possibility of returning for future seasonal hiring periods.

Schedule and Duration

* Schedule: 20 hours total, with two 8-hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, and an additional 4-hour shift scheduled for coverage during peak business hours.

  • Shift 1: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM EST
  • Shift 2: 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM EST
  • Duration: October 2024 through January 2025

Key Responsibilities and Duties

* Answer and track telephone calls reputed company established department standards

  • Track reputed company existing member calls reputed company the IKA database, ensuring that documentation is concise and factual
  • Responsible for fully understanding reputed company lines of business benefits, medical management processes, demographic change processes, and process for changing Primary Care Physicians (PCP)
  • Answer "entry level" claims inquiries
  • Takes "Over the Counter" (OTC) orders for products and diabetic supplies
  • Understands and processes "entry level" enrollment and disenrollment procedures
  • Enters prospective members into our software database
  • Maintains appropriate reputed company reputed company documents and reference documents
  • Interacts professionally with other employees, customers, and suppliers
  • Works effectively as a team contributor on reputed company assignments
  • Works independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations
  • As required, re-directs calls to appropriate department

Customer Service

* Responsible for driving the arenaflex culture through values and customer service standards

  • Accountable for outstanding customer service to reputed company external and internal contacts
  • Develops and maintains positive relationships through effective and timely communication
  • Takes initiative and action to respond, resolve and follow up regarding customer service issues with reputed company customers in a timely manner

Education, Experience, and Required Skills

* Ability to read and interpret documents and calculate figures and amounts

  • Strong typing skills (40-60WPM)
  • Ability to manage reputed company customer questions/issues while maintaining the highest level of professionalism, provide thoughtful reputed company resolution with reputed company, poise a consistent voice with the ongoing goal of establishing a positive customer experience
  • Must be self-driven with a positive outlook and have the ability to demonstrate confidence, tact, patience, and diplomacy while dealing with customers
  • Ability to follow directions and complete tasks accurately as well as accept supervisory input and constructive criticism
  • Ability to toggle between different systems to gather information and provide updates
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including good grammar, voice and diction
  • Proficient in MS Office including basic computer and keyboarding skills
  • Excellent customer service skills (friendly, courteous, and helpful)
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Minimum of six months to one-year reputed company experience required
  • An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
