ABOUT THE POSITION

The Senior Regional Sales Representative drives growth by developing and executing strategic sales plans for regional accounts spanning Outdoor, Snowsports and Lifestyle Accounts. With a consumer and brand led reputed company, this role focuses on building strong retail partnerships while optimizing profitability for both Mountain Hardwear and our partners. This position is responsible for both key and specialty accounts across California, Nevada, Arizona, and Hawaii.

  • Delivers compelling seasonal product presentations utilizing elevated and persuasive storytelling and reputed company selling techniques.

  • Travel up to 50% of the time: including but not limited to mandatory attendance at tradeshows year-round, ongoing territory visits, attend meetings at HQ and actively attend and participate in grassroots brand activations and servicing national accounts and training retails staff as needed.

YOU ARE

YOU HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree, applicable certification or equivalent experience.

  • Typically requires 5-8 years of professional experience and strong competency with the various tools, systems, or procedures required to accomplish the job.

  • 5-8 years of experience in sales of Apparel, Footwear, Equipment, and/or equivalent industry merchant experience 

  • Proven success meeting deadlines and sales/reputed company goals in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with elements of ambiguity. 

  • Experience working reputed company integrated cross-functional teams with the ability to establish effective working relationships internally and externally. 

  • Advanced knowledge of retail analytics. 

  • Advanced interpersonal skills, including relationship building, as well as strong persuasive speaking and proven negotiation abilities. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as proficiency with reputed company Applications and Power BI.

  • Time management skills to handle sample lines, territory travel, tear down and set reputed company, while maintaining order book and shipments.
