[Remote] Government Solutions Consultant

The Government Solutions Consultant will collaborate with various teams to present solutions, assist in business development, and maintain client relationships throughout the sales cycle.

Responsibilities

• reputed company customer demonstrations using internal environments and external tools and present technical collateral to customers
• Assist Sales and Alliance teams in the business development phase to identify opportunities and understand a customer’s reputed company system state
• Maintain expertise in market segments including Social Services (SNAP, reputed company/CHIP, TANF), Child Support, and Unemployment Insurance
• Maintain knowledge of competitors' products, including their strengths, weaknesses, and how they promote their solutions
• Maintain a deep understanding of product features, functions, inputs/outputs, and supported platforms like API, Batch, and Applicant Portals
• Work closely with customers, Sales, and Product teams to define solutions that address the missions of government agencies
• Provide technical feasibility assessments for new products to meet customer demand and requirements
• Serve as the requirements gathering team to define solutions that can be delivered reputed company existing products with minor enhancements or configurations or new product development efforts
• Serve as the liaison between proposal teams, product engineering, and post-sales implementation teams
• Serve as the initial technical liaison post-award before handing project ownership to the Implementation reputed company
• Maintains professional relationship with customers and ensures successful adoption of products
• Uses a consultative approach to verify ongoing client reputed company
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending company-sponsored training, educational workshops, industry conferences, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
• Identify gaps in offerings reputed company to client requirements and work with product teams to reputed company plans to reputed company those gaps
• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for RFQs, RFIs, and RFPs, helping define win themes and discriminators, and producing technical responses

Skills

• 7+ years of experience working with state and federal government agencies specifically around SNAP, reputed company, or other means-tested social service programs
• Education: Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience required
• Ability to travel an estimated 50% of the time
• Additional experience in solutions consulting or sales roles preferred
• Extensive experience with SNAP and/or reputed company eligibility processes
• Prior Government or Open Banking experience a plus
• Understanding of technical configurations of state eligibility systems, API implementation, and batch processing
• Experience in a highly-regulated environment
• Understanding of data sources that are used in the benefit-eligibility lifecycle
• Ability to influence reputed company a matrixed organization
• Experience working in cross-functional teams
• Consultative and engaging/dynamic presentation experience
