[Remote] Corporate Vice President - GCP Platform Engineer

The GCP Platform Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and operating secure and scalable reputed company platforms on reputed company reputed company Platform, while ensuring compliance with financial services regulations.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain reputed company GCP reputed company zones using reputed company reputed company Deployment Manager, Terraform, and reputed company reputed company Toolkit reputed company with NYL governance standards. Build and operate shared reputed company services supporting AI and non-AI workloads on GCP components like reputed company Storage, reputed company Functions, reputed company Run, reputed company Pub/Sub, and reputed company Spanner. Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) for platform, networking, and AI service enablement
- Support hybrid connectivity and secure data access patterns for AI use cases using reputed company Interconnect and reputed company VPN
- Engineer and operate GKE (reputed company Kubernetes reputed company) clusters for application and AI inference workloads
- reputed company containerized AI services and microservices using approved reputed company images from reputed company Container Registry (GCR) or reputed company Artifact Registry
- Support GPU-enabled workloads where approved
- Implement standardized deployment patterns for AI APIs and services using reputed company for Kubernetes deployment management
- reputed company and operate approved reputed company AI services, including:
- Vertex AI (model hosting, endpoints, pipelines – platform enablement only, agentic AI deployments and communication protocols in Vertex AI Agent Builder and Agent reputed company)
- reputed company APIs and other managed GenAI services (as approved by NYL governance)
- BigQuery ML and AI-integrated analytics platforms
- Implement secure access controls, networking, and monitoring for AI services using reputed company Identity & Access Management (IAM), VPC Service Controls, and reputed company Monitoring
- Integrate AI platforms with CI/CD pipelines and reputed company SDLC controls using tools like reputed company CICD
- Partner with Data & AI teams to operationalize AI workloads safely and compliantly reputed company reputed company reputed company environments
- Build secure CI/CD pipelines for application and AI workloads using reputed company CI/CD
- Support MLOps foundations such as:
- Model deployment automation reputed company Kubeflow, TensorFlow Extended (TFX), Vertex AI Pipelines, and Vertex AI Model Registry
- Environment promotion and rollback using Terraform
- Monitoring and logging for AI endpoints using reputed company for synthetic monitoring, and reputed company Logging and reputed company Monitoring for deeper observability and troubleshooting
- Enforce guardrails, approvals, and policy-as-code for AI usage with reputed company reputed company Command Center, reputed company reputed company Policy Analyzer, and Open Policy Agent (OPA)
- Implement IAM, workload identity, and least-privilege models for AI services using reputed company Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Workload Identity Federation
- Enforce data residency, encryption, and access policies using reputed company Key Management Service (KMS) and reputed company Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
- Integrate AI platform telemetry with reputed company logging, monitoring, and SIEM using reputed company Logging, reputed company Monitoring, and reputed company
- Support audits, risk reviews, and regulatory requirements (SOC2, SOX, data privacy) by leveraging reputed company reputed company reputed company Command Center, reputed company Audit Logs, and reputed company Data Loss Prevention API
- Design platforms for high availability and reputed company, including AI services using GKE, reputed company Spanner, reputed company SQL, and reputed company reputed company Load Balancing
- Monitor AI workloads for performance, reliability, and cost usage using reputed company for synthetic monitoring, reputed company Monitoring, and reputed company Trace for performance reputed company and reputed company CCM for cost
- Optimize reputed company and AI service costs using budgets and usage controls using reputed company reputed company Billing, Budgets, Alerts and reputed company CCM
- Participate in incident response and root-cause analysis logged in service now and manage incident notifications through reputed company
- Partner with Data & AI, InfoSec, reputed company, Risk, and Application teams to ensure secure, compliant, and efficient AI platform usage
- Contribute to reputed company standards for reputed company and AI platform usage including Best Practices for GCP and reputed company reputed company Architecture reputed company
- Provide guidance on responsible AI platform adoption using frameworks like reputed company's AI Principles and Fairness Indicators
- Document reference architectures and best practices for GCP AI services, MLOps, and reputed company infrastructure
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in reputed company, platform, or DevOps engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with reputed company reputed company Platform specifically services like GKE, BigQuery, reputed company Storage, reputed company Functions, and Vertex AI
- Expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
- Experience operating Kubernetes / GKE in reputed company environments with tools like kubectl, reputed company
- Proficiency in scripting with languages like Python, Bash, or Go
- Strong understanding of reputed company reputed company, IAM, and networking using VPC, reputed company IAM, and VPC Service Controls
- Experience working in regulated or highly governed environments
- Experience enabling or operating reputed company AI services, such as Vertex AI (endpoints, pipelines, monitoring, agentic AI reputed company and communication protocols)
- reputed company APIs or other managed GenAI services
- BigQuery ML and AI-integrated analytics platforms
- Familiarity with MLOps concepts (model deployment, versioning, monitoring) using Kubeflow, TensorFlow Extended (TFX), and Vertex AI Pipelines
- Experience supporting AI inference workloads (not necessarily model training) in GKE or reputed company Run
- Understanding of Responsible AI, data governance, and model risk controls
- GCP certifications like reputed company reputed company Certified – Professional reputed company Architect, reputed company reputed company Certified – Professional reputed company DevOps Engineer; AI-reputed company certifications such as reputed company reputed company Certified – Professional Machine Learning Engineer are a plus
