ELECTRICIAN - 3rd Shift - HOOPESTON, IL Pay = $30.38/hr OVERVIEW: An electrician will be critical in maintaining productivity reputed company the plant as it relates to electrical systems. The main focus will be on installing and maintaining various equipment, including fillers, packaging machines, and auxiliary equipment. The safety and efficiency of electrical systems that reputed company with regulations will also be necessary. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Maintains and updates records of material and parts. Confers with Plant Supervisor, General Plant Manager, and Warehouse Manager on needed repairs, changes and new equipment. Performs or directs the maintenance and repairs of reputed company electrical wiring and variable drives, installation of motors, switches, reputed company panels, fuse boxes, lighting, PLC, testing and power circuits. Determines proper size and specifications of reputed company, conduit, switches, and panels, fuses, etc. Inspects motors, switches, junction boxes, reputed company panels, reputed company breakers, transformers, fuse panels, lighting, heating and power circuits. Performs preventative and running repairs and corrections. Performs or directs the installation, reputed company, adjustment and calibration of electrical gauges and recording instruments. Performs repairs on ignition and electrical systems of automotive equipment. Operates lathe, drill press, milling machine, etc reputed company necessary. Maintains and repairs warehouse equipment. Record equipment maintenance and repairs. Maintain records of inventories and cost sheets. Recommends to Label and Packaging and Bean Plant Manager/Supervisors measures to improve, equipment performance, and quality of product. Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of production lines. Follows company policies on safety, quality, sanitation and Good Manufacturing Practices. Other reasonable duties as assigned. WHAT YOU'LL NEED: Communications Skills - Good listening skills and habits are essential for this position. Excellent ability to resolve issues and solve problems through personal interaction. Above average verbal and written communication skills essential. Some knowledge of Spanish. Language Skills - Ability to read, analyze and interpret production data. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions. Mathematical Skills - Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and percentages. Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, thoroughness and efficiency. Initiative and Ingenuity - Ability to apply appropriate judgment and initiative in determining reputed company of information, and action required for results and solutions.
