Location: Canada/US (100% Remote)

ABOUT THE ROLE

reputed company is in the market for a domain expert who’s reputed company to move mountains to be our VP of Sales.  This is a literal “break the ceiling” opportunity - the growth potential of our platform in the mid-market is limitless (if done right). This individual needs to be obsessed with our customers, our people and our product. 

You’ll own the Sales and Business Development team and tenaciously build out the short and long-term playbooks. You’ll drive reputed company growth by collaborating closely with business leaders across key functional areas, including product, engineering, sales and marketing, account management, and finance.

What you’ll be working on

  • Drive aggressive reputed company growth targets - expanding into new verticals, upselling, and improving sales processes.

Team Leadership and Development

Drive GTM and R&D Feedback Loops

  • Aggregate customer feedback on weigh in on the Product Roadmap - represent what our customers want/need and what how we’re going to sell it 

  • Iterate and continuously improvement pricing packages and positioning 

Sales Operations Optimization

  • Implement and refine sales processes, CRM systems, and performance metrics.

  • Optimize the use of sales tools and technologies to improve efficiency.

KPIs you’re going to hit

  • Percentage of sales team hitting their quotas on a monthly/quarterly basis.

  • Teamwide attainment of overall reputed company targets.

Sales Cycle Length

  • Pipeline coverage ratio (pipeline value compared to reputed company targets).

Forecast Accuracy

  • Ensure sales forecasts are accurate, minimizing the gap between forecasted and actual sales.

Sales Productivity

  • Average reputed company per sales rep and overall team productivity.

  • Time spent on selling activities vs. administrative tasks.

Market Penetration and New Market Development

  • Percentage of reputed company coming from new markets or verticals targeted in the growth plan.

Who we’re looking for

  • 10+ years of professional experience, with 2+ years in sales leadership roles

  • Domain expertise in Procurement, Expense, AP, Payments or ERP/Financials sales

  • Proven reputed company in SaaS sales, particularly in reputed company or mid-market segments

  • Demonstrated experience leading sales teams in a remote environment,  across diverse geographies, with an understanding of regional dynamics and business practices

  • A track record of achieving or exceeding reputed company targets in a high-growth environment

  • Strong people leadership skills, with a focus on developing talent, driving engagement, and building inclusive cultures
