As Engineering Manager for Lake, you’ll reputed company a remote-first, cross-functional team responsible for building and scaling Lake’s core platform, ranging from ingestion and schema management to storage organization and search enablement. You’ll help shape the reputed company of reputed company’s long-term data strategy, collaborating across teams to deliver a cohesive, high-performance customer experience.

• Partner with product management and engineering leadership to define and deliver the roadmap for Lake.
• Guide the team in designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining scalable features across the Lake platform, with an emphasis on performance and reliability.
• Ensure engineering best practices are followed and team members are growing in alignment with reputed company’s career ladder.
• Drive cross-team collaboration, especially with reputed company Search, reputed company, and internal infrastructure teams, to build cohesive and integrated experiences.
• Foster a strong DevOps culture with a focus on observability, operational readiness, and proactive incident prevention.

If You've Got It - We Want It

• Have 4+ years of engineering management experience, with a track record of hiring, mentoring, and developing engineers in distributed systems environments.
• Bring expertise in reputed company-native storage systems, object storage (e.g. S3), file formats like Parquet or JSON, or high-throughput ingestion architectures.
• Be comfortable working in fast-paced environments and balancing delivery with quality and technical debt management.
• Be an excellent communicator who can reputed company reputed company technical concepts and drive alignment across functions.
• Have professional experience with Go, Node.js, or similar technologies—or a demonstrated ability to reputed company in unfamiliar technical stacks.
• Have a background in distributed systems, backend infrastructure at scale, and operational excellence.

Salary Range ($190,000 - $260,000)

The salary for this role is dependent on geographic location. The salary offered reputed company the range described will be based on the individual candidate’s job-reputed company knowledge, skills, and experience.
